Long overdue update

Hey, everyone! First I want to thank you all for your support. A few of you have even found me at cons and told me how much you've enjoyed the demo, which never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Often, I'm also asked, "When will the game be finished?" When I first started, I had a schedule in mind, and planned to have the full game completed August 2018. That, uh. was very ambitious of me. Not only did I constantly find myself busy with other projects, I also slowly (maybe too slowly) realized that I was in a bit over my head with doing everything by myself. and every time I thought about how much work I had yet to do on it, it just made me procrastinate on it more and more.

A few weeks ago, I accepted the fact that if I ever want to finish this game, I was going to need help. I found someone to take over writing the script for me - they'll still be working off my outline and notes, but will also have input on how certain scenes will play out, and hopefully be able to tighten up the dialogue a bit. Once that's done, I plan on finding a programmer to build the game out. Right now, the code is basically held together with some string and chewing gum. It works for now, but could definitely use the touch of someone who actually knows what they're doing.

So I don't know when the game will be finished exactly, but it will be finished. I'm hoping for sometime this year, but we'll see. Either way, I promise to update you all on its progress more often.

The news of this project continuing is very pleasant news indeed. Being someone who has dabbled in Twine, I can appreciate a project falling behind schedule and I'm glad you've found someone to help bring things out. I hope that a programmer isn't too hard to find, and I can't wait to see what Shadowburg has in store for us all.

Thank you for the update~
